In my opinion I don’t think so because it is a test and they are people that are not good at tests but they’re work ethic and understanding of the work is outstanding.There are people who are good at test but don’t do their work. So I think it is unfair for the people working hard. It is basically telling them they that they’re hard work is for nothing. I think they should completely take out the SAT test. I think it is unnecessary for nation wide testing because it doesn’t really show much. Everyone has different things their good. It might not be school or it might be but the nation wide test just show rankings in my eyes. Which state is the smartest or even schools. Which means that the kids with the resources can prosper in the SAT. The kids that don’t have the resources will not prevail in the SAT. So this tells me that it is actually more of stress than it should be. If kids can’t get the resources then they struggle with test like this because they can’t get ready for this test. These test test lowers the kids hunger to learn because it makes them feel like there is no reason to keep trying. The reason of that is because if their SAT score is low they can’t go to a good college and they’re probably going to just do good enough to graduate. To some kids the test is kind of like shortcut to good college because they think the colleges will look at the SAT score with their average GPA and accept them to their college.I think school is about learning new things not getting ready for tests so you can pass the class. I’m not saying we shouldn’t have test but the really big nation wide test are not needed. It makes student focus on the test instead learning their other classes. I think it is about money more than
