In comparison to other countries, America is the best in numerous categories: most valuable brands, security, school and colleges, and global spotlight. Millions of immigrants are eagerly waiting to enter the U.S. borders with nothing but a dream and hope (TOP). Many foreigners recognize the potential America holds in her barriers from freedom to the chance to become famous and rich. For instance, there a quite a few successful people who became from nothing to something. For example, Sam Walton who became America’s richest man at $145 billion came from a poor family in a small town in Oklahoma. He slowly gained his success by selling the most randomest of things, but in an efficient way. He eventually, founded what is known as one of America’s largest supermarkets Wal-Mart earning millions of dollars (Packer). Furthermore, in today’s age opponents of the American Dream believe that it is more difficult to attain for just anyone. However, on a modern television show called “America’s Got Talent” hundreds of average of contestants have the opportunity to receive instant fame and win one million dollars by performing in front of four judges and all of America. “America’s Got Talent” allows anyone the chance to show off their special skill or live their dream. On the most recent season of this show an average girl won the whole competition with nothing more than her ukulele and her voice, and she is now known and beloved my millions of fans. Besides “America’s Got Talent,” people can become instantly famous and receive plenty of money from but not limited to social media sites like YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter.
