The existence of Guantanamo Bay is a legal and ethical mess, because of the fact that the torture camp breaks international law, Habeas Corpus, the 18th amendment, the Geneva Convention and many many humans rights organizations all around the world.

When you say that ¨we need torture to get intelligence¨ , you have to think about your claim from the other side. Was it ok for ISIS to torture people for the intelligence that they needed? Well anyone with the right mind would answer, no of course it's not ok for ISIS to torture for intelligence, That is where you have your answer. Due to the fact that all arguments have two sides, if one argument doesn't fit with one side, it must not fit with the other.
