Some districts discovered that the use of external keyboards should be left as optional as it should only be used on where it is most comfortable for the user. It is also found that kids requires more experience with keyboarding, it’s not just for the purpose of assessment but to build up their skills. The bigger problem found is to get kids used to keyboards.
The ninth lesson learned from the Assessment Field Tests is to Practice the Sample Tests. Students would need help finding own ways in online assessments. There are things that teachers couldn’t taught the students but to provide separate ways to amend that and to facilitates their understanding. It also takes a little push to have people convert their usual ways of a paper-based test to a computer
