1.Definition of Human Resource Planning - HRP “The ongoing process of systematic planning to achieve optimum use of an organization's most valuable asset, its human resources. The objective of human resource (HR) planning is to ensure the best fit between employees and jobs, while avoiding manpower shortages or surpluses. The three key elements of the HR planning process are forecasting labour demand, analysing present labour supply, and balancing projected labour demand and supply.”

It means that Human Resource Planning is the process of predicting about demand and supply for workers as well as increasing their skills within the purpose or the strategic of the organization. In addition, Human Resource Planning is the process that defines the available employees and future human resources which is to be demand for a company to get their goals. It responds to the importance of business campaigns and planning to make sure that the quality and quantity of workers are efficiency. Therefore, we can say that HRP is the principle activity of HRM.
