Types of Objectives
Four types of training objectives are as below
• Trainee reaction objectives

Reasons to formulate Objectives:
It is important to formulate all four types of objectives as they are based to address areas identified in TNA. Hence if there are no set objectives, there would be no identification of areas which are improved after training. Hence addressing and formulating them individually is important as It benefits multiple entities associated with training to focus on key areas of training and to have clear idea of what they are going to take away as improved KSA back to their jobs after training.
Who Benefits from Learning Objectives & Why
There are four beneficiaries of Learning Objectives as below
• Trainee
• Training Designer
• Trainer
• Training Evaluator
Trainee:
Learning objectives help trainee to reduce their anxiety towards unknown and help them to identify what is being expected from them and what areas they need to focus to improve their KSA. This increase on focus helps them to pay attention to what is being transferred to them through training and increases their likelihood.
Training Designer:
Since training objectives translate TNA into training outcomes the designer of training can check for methods and contents which would be helpful to design training. Behavioral objectives help in development of better learning plans.
Trainer:
With clear learning objectives in hand trainer can facilitate learning process more efficiently and it becomes easy for him to identify and make necessary adjustments in process or method if required and lets him keep on the right track.
