Augustus's Fault In Our Stars
I finished the book Fault in Our Stars and I am going to add a scene during the book. As the young teenagers grow madly in love, Augustus surprises Hazel Grace with a trip to Amsterdam to meet the author she admires. After meeting Peter Van Houten, Hazel was not thrilled to see what type of lifestyle he lived. He was a selfish man with drinking issues. She was not as inspired by his writing after meeting him. Augustus did not have the reaction he was looking for from Hazel. Augustus wants the first trip they go on together to be the time of her life so he took her out to dinner after meeting Peter. After eating Augustus leads Hazel to a park nearby the restaurant, there was a path leading to a big heart made of flower pedals. Hazel starting
tearing up because she did not know what was going on, after awhile they started talking about how much they loved each other and what a difference they have done to each others life. After talking for an hour, Augustus got down on one knee and purposed to the love of his life. Hazel stood there in awe then screamed yes. They then walked around the streets of Amsterdam showing off her ring and the engagement. Hazel thought right away she better call her parents to tell them the big news. Once her mom answered Hazel was still in shock, so she did not say anything. She finally told her parents and they were excited but nervous about how young they still were. The trip to Amsterdam was coming to an end. They flew back home the next morning. Once they got home they started planning the wedding as soon as possible. Hazel went dress shopping with her mom and found the perfect white dress. The day off the wedding came and Hazel was so excited to marry the man of her dreams. Augustus asked Isaac to be his best man. As Hazel walked down the aisle she was in tears. Her father walked down the aisle with her and gave her away.
I think I should get a 12 out of 14 on my journal because it is creative and done well. I proofread it multiple times, had others read it and put it through Paperrator.
