Over the past few years 30 percent more American children have been diagnosed with Autism. The clear view signs of autism and symptoms tend to emerge between 12 and 18 months of age. Although some infants and toddlers begin to develop normally until they reach their second year of life. When they begin to lose their skills and develop Autism its called regression. Although there is no one cause of Autism, researchers do agree that environmental factors play a huge role. The National Autism Association believes that vaccinations can trigger or exacerbate Autism in some children. Especially children who are predisposed to immune, autoimmune, or inflammatory conditions. Mainstream research has identified other contributing factors like parental age, pesticide exposure, and pharmaceuticals. Scientists believe that chemicals in pesticides may adversely affect children who are genetically predisposed to Autism, leading them to develop the full blown disorder. Studies have also found that women in their 40’s have a greater risk of having a child with Autism, rather than a woman who is in her 20’s. Another factor that puts children at a higher risk is pharmaceuticals. Babies that are exposed to these in the womb have a larger risk of becoming autistic. Many parents don’t notice their
