In the story “How to write a memoir” William Zinsser talked about three things, “Be yourself, speak freely, and think small” (2, 4, 6). I am reading a book called “Bad boy.”

In the story “Bad boy” the author is a kid who talks about his family. According to the text it says, “During the first week of the fourth grade Mrs. Parker, our teacher, made the two tallest boys ,Eric and me, cookie monitors.” He is being himself because that is what he wanted to write about when he was a kid. He was being himself for the whole story.
