Baseball In Middle Schools Essay
Do you like baseball? Well I do and I feel really strong about schools having baseball especially middle schools in the Kent school district. I mean middle schools have sports like football, soccer, basketball, wrestling, volleyball, dance, and cheer if you think that’s a sport. But what about baseball there are a lot of baseball players out there I’m sure of it. Nine people is all it takes to have a team that’s it nine people. If its injury’s parents are worried about the percent of getting hurt are really slim. If its cost the district is worried about this Kent school district has enough money for middle school and high school kids to have lap tops and also teachers. Coaches is not a problem either because if a teacher can teach any sport then they can teach baseball it’s not hard and it’s really simple. can be dangerous but that’s why we have gear. There’s also benefits too. Like social skills it’s a communicating sport also its outside to you can play with friends make new friends its running around. Kids can form interpersonal and leadership skills. It can also become a popular sport for middle school because if one or two kids go one way that other kid is going to want to go that way so it will draw people in. I think really strongly about everything if one kid thinks something that can be done within logic it should be done and I think this should be done soon. Instead of saying no it can’t be done well first off it can be done and second off if someone won’t fix this then I have question. Where my parents are tax dollars going to I live in Kent so my family pays taxes to the school district and why the heck does mill creek have touch screen laptops for the kids um hello there’s a school that’s called meeker middle school in case you didn’t notice that. So what I’m saying is that if you guys have that kind of money to have touch screen laptops for a school we meeker middle school we should to.
Yes I can tell you the price for everything in baseball so what you’ll need maybe two to 3000 baseballs for all the middle schools that will do baseball. 79 baseballs with a bucket to carry around 144 dollars that’s cheap for that many baseballs believe me there are some crazy baseball prices out there. Field equipment for maintaining the field a dirt mixer thingy that we kids can do before the game at the home games. Baseball bats this year for Kent parks and REC we are using drop 3 bats that I have and they are expensive they range around anywhere from 40 to 400 dollars 40 dollars that’s not bad. Batting helmets for north wood, meeker, mill creek, Matson, I think there are more but I don’t of them. It would be really cool to have batting helmets that were the school colors green gold, purple grey, etc. these can either be custom or just one color witch the color one not custom can range from anywhere from the 20 to 90 dollar range. Bat bags aren’t that bad but there up there in price the size we would probably need are ones with wheels or back pack or youth to men size. We could even have specific days for like catching, hitting, fielding, running and sliding basses, we should probably even do weight room one day a week to get stronger at what we do and the way we see are selves because according to “Jeff Croswell , NASM Elite Trainer he said absolutely it does change the way you see yourself”\. And the way you feel about the way you feel out in public for sure.Baseball is for everyone. I know KSD had baseball before but it’s the 21st century and we have the fields. Come to me ill me manager no problem. So what it seems like to me is that you really only need a teacher to be on the same page as me and or at least wiling to be coach. I’m saying that I’ve played baseball for a really long time I could be coach because here’s the thing the coach doesn’t need to know how to play baseball or even know the rules of the game. It’s really easy to learn. So what I’m saying is if you guys can do all these sports where baseball the only way is to get better is by practice everybody should know that.
Either way it is way more fun to practice after school with your friends. So baseball should be a middle school sport. Think of it as if you were a kid and you played baseball I think that you would want someone to care about your thoughts. least only think that someone cares I'm only 12 ok I would like someone to at least try to make this happen.
