Becoming A Veterinarian
child I was always around dogs which made me want to pursue an education in
Animal Health Science. All my life I have dreamt of becoming a Veterinarian which has made me determined to continue my education and make that dream a reality.
When I was younger watching dogs on the streets would make me upset because they didn’t have homes, I could never help them because I couldn’t have any pets at the time. Since then my love for dogs and other animals has motivated me to become a successful person in which I could save and care for animals as I’ve always wanted to. At the age of ten I was given my first dog , it was the best day of my life since that day I’ve become a responsible person taking care of my dog taught me a lot of things of owning

In my community there is only one veterinary hospital which is great but, needs a shelter in which people could volunteer and save animals. Many animals are seen without homes around the city but, don't get the help they need .Growing up in my community has made a huge difference in who I want to become; it makes me want to improve my community. Working with others has been one of the few volunteer works I've done within my city. Helping out children with tutoring has changed my perspective on helping others.My family has always played an important role in my life; they have always supported my dreams even through the most difficult times. They have encouraged me to my best and never give up on my dreams. My family has taught me many things but, one of the important is to help other people out because you may not know what they are going through. One of the reasons that make me want to keep on going is my parents because they never got an education higher than high school which would make me the first person ever in my family to attend college. This moment of my life changed me it taught me to value and cherish everything and anyone I have around me, it taught me to be grateful for the little things we have in life. This experience has made me change my personality ,I used to keep a lot of things to myself but, there comes a time in which a person needs to let out what they are feeling I did and now I am a outgoing person .When I began to feel frustration, was when I couldn’t help my parents I began to take pictures of places around me and it made me feel so relieved and those pictures helped me find what I personally always loved which is taking pictures, which is one of my favorite things to do when I’m feeling stressed.
