Personally, as a high school student, I do not believe that waking up a half an hour later would help me feel well rested and ready to preform. For instance, if I stay up until 3:00 a.m. in order to study for a test, it would not matter if I would wake up at 6:00 a.m. or 6:30 a.m. because I would still be deprived of sleep. If parents leave earlier than their children in the morning, how would they help them to get ready for school? Currently, many school districts use the same buses to transport both high school students and elementary school students; how would schools afford to pay for new busses to transport elementary school students and high school students at the same time? How would students with after school activities find time to study, finish homework, and participate in social activities? Ultimately, beginning the school day at a later hour would be problematic for students, parents, and even the schools
