After interviewing a teacher and an instructor for a robotics education group, I have discovered that they both use different methods. Mr. Sanders with the Ken Sanders Family Foundation feels that team work is a better method for his group. He has seen the effect that working as a team has had on his group of youths. Mr. Sanders feels that in working together his students have learned very valuable leadership skills. He says that “with the team concepts it instills self-confidence because it allows the students to work together, have learning experiences without the fear of failure.” This type of team work takes the pressure of individual responsibility off the students and allows them to be free to express themselves. Their social skills are developed due to the interaction that must take place. Ms. Austin, who is a teacher, finds that both methods are useful when they are applied approximately. She finds that some projects have a need for group interaction. When she decides to use this method she creates several groups. All of these groups work together in their perspective groups to accomplish a goal that will unite these groups. However,…

Andrew Carnegie – a famous businessman, the King of Steel once said “ Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results ”. Some people like to work independently, while others would prefer to work in a team. Is it more important to be able to work with a team or to work independently? Depending upon different personal traits and working environment, people will have different answers to this question. However, working as a group to complete an assignment and working alone to complete the assignment seem totally opposite.…

Statistics have shown that working in a group can make things easier and more efficient. Working in a group will be better than working alone because you can assign a task to a group member based on their strengths and talents. You could receive useful feedback from group members, and shorten the amount of time you might have originally spent on the project if you had worked alone.…
Second, studying in a group will spend your time less. When you study, you may want to spend less time learning more things. These two ways will bring different outcome. According to my personal opinion, cooperation is much better. I think this because when we cooperate, we all are working together and one person does not have a huge burden. With all the different people with different ideas we are more creative and have many alternatives in case one idea did not work. Since each member of the group has different talents, we each learn something new from each other. Cooperating also is better for you health since everyone shares the work, there is less mental stress.…
