BrisingR

Title: Brisingr
Author: My authors name is “Christopher Paolini”, he’s a very good writer throughout all his three books he wrote. The book really and easily catches people’s attentions and it really has more to think about. The author made a really awesome job of making or writing then story line for this book because it’s very much has interesting parts and parts that makes you feel like you are one of the characters.
Setting: Alagaesia
Point of view: Actually the book is written in a third-person omniscient
Characters: Eragon was the main person of the story, and he himself is a rider of his own dragon. Roran, most likely is Eragon’s cousin but he once was a easy feared little kid. Saphira, Eragon’s dragon such as the riders dragon.
Plot: Brisingr begins with Eragon, the main character, and Roran, his cousin, preparing for the Assult on Helgrind. Helgrind is the home of an ancient evil species known as the Ra'zac. The name itself means "Place of Death". The reason for their assult arises in the last book where the Ra'zac were after Roran. The villagers fortified their town against these creatures and the soldiers of the empire they came with. However one of their own, betrayed them so he and his daughter, Katrina could escape. The Ra'zac captured Katrina and her father, Sloan, and now have them there in Helgrind. Katrina and Roran had planned to wed in the previous book as well and hence his desperation to rescue her before it's too late. Eragon, Roran, and Saphira, Eragon's Dragon, storm Helgrind early in the book, rescuing Katrina and killing all but one Ra'zac.

Eragon hides Sloan's existance from Roran and Katrina because of the pain the knowledge would bring to their relationship. So when it is time to leave, Eragon suprises everyone and stays behind, saying he's there to kill the last Ra'zac, which he does. After he is alone and has killed the last Ra'zac, Eragon fetches Sloan and gets him

According to Internetlivestats.com, the Google search engine is racking up over 3.5 billion searches each day, showing how dependent we are upon the internet in giving us information. Many searches can be found in other resources like books, but the internet overwhelms us with answers in a split second that does not make it easy for us to retain the information. In Source A, Mark Bauerlein tries to persuade the readers that we are the dumbest generation because we have all of the tools to gain knowledge, yet we are not taking advantage of the benefits they offer. The under-thirty generation is the dumbest because of the lack of common knowledge, which demonstrates how technology leads to ignorance.…

On the outside, Eragon seems like the strong, brave role model, but he has gone through difficult challenges to get there. Eragon can be compared to a lion because lions are the most feared predators on the savanna, but they weren’t always this way. Lions are born tiny, inexperienced, and defenseless. Eragon used to be a farm-boy, but after finding a dragon egg, he turns into one of the land’s greatest heroes…

Every sports fan hates to admit the fact that sports are simply business, but it is undeniable that sports are one of the most lucrative businesses in the U.S. Right now the market for women's professional sports is growing rapidly. The best way for women's sporting organizations to promote and sell this market is to align with previously established organizations such as the NBA, NCAA and the USOIC. Although joining with men's organizations is a difficult process that involves compromise, merging with these organizations helps to land big television contracts, gives greater publicity, and brings in endorsements, advertisers and investors. The lack of these benefits was among the key factors in the failure of the ABL. Inversely, these are the reasons for the successes of the WNBA and women's sports in the Olympics.…

After reading the January 1975 issue of Popular Electronics that demonstrated the Altair 8800, Gates contacted Micro Instrumentation and Telemetry Systems (MITS), the creators of the new microcomputer, to inform them that he and others were working on a BASIC interpreter for the platform. In reality, Gates and Allen did not have an Altair and had not written code for it; they merely wanted to gauge MITS's interest. MITS president Ed Roberts agreed to meet them for a demo, and over the course of a few weeks they developed an Altair emulator that ran on a minicomputer, and then the BASIC interpreter. The demonstration, held at MITS's offices in Albuquerque was a success and resulted in a deal with MITS to distribute the interpreter as Altair BASIC. Paul Allen was hired into MITS, and Gates took a leave of absence from Harvard to work with Allen at MITS in Albuquerque in November 1975. They named their partnership "Micro-Soft" and had their first office located in Albuquerque. Within a year, the hyphen was dropped, and on November 26, 1976, the trade name "Microsoft" was registered with the Office of the Secretary of the State of New Mexico. Gates never returned to Harvard to complete his studies. Microsoft's BASIC was popular with computer hobbyists, but Gates discovered that a pre-market copy had leaked into the community and was being widely copied and distributed. In February 1976, Gates wrote an Open Letter to Hobbyists in the MITS newsletter saying that MITS could not continue to produce, distribute, and maintain high-quality software without payment. This letter was unpopular with many computer hobbyists, but Gates persisted in his belief that software developers should be able to demand payment. Microsoft became independent of MITS in late 1976, and it continued to develop programming language software for various systems. The company moved from Albuquerque to its new home in Bellevue, Washington on January 1, 1979, after the former…
