Bensalem Outback Speech
I am reaching out to all of my Outbackers,LifeForce Crossfitters and kind humans.

Myself along with my store #3914 Bensalem Outback are collecting school supplies to send to Houston. Our goal is to get children back in school and put some sort of normalcy and structure back in their day.

In order to replenish their needs Houston definitely needs school supplies. Notebooks, markers, crayons, erasers, pens, pencils, paper, childrens books, back packs, etc.

I can pick up items, or anyone can drop items at the Bensalem Outback Steak House- 3240 Tillman Dr,Bensalem Pa 19020.

Box members I can put a container at the box if that is helpful. I can stop in and pick them up or I attend class mostly tuesday and wednesdays.

Thank you!
~Elizabeth

I am on the side of Benjamin Franklin because we have to take matters into our own hands to break free from Great Britain. We have tried multiple times trying to break free from Britain and we can’t just think that King george will stop his ways. Just as Patrick Henry said “Give me liberty or Death” we will should fight to get our freedom even if matters go to violence. If people join the Loyalists then they are breaking the dream of our great country the United States of America. This is also breaking the dream of our great president George Washington.…

    Justin Trudeau's Speech

What constitutes a great and memorable speech? Following the recent results of the October 19th federal election in Canada, two major speeches were delivered – Justin Trudeau’s victory speech and Steven Harper’s defeat speech. Just as with President Barack Obama’s 2008 victory speech ("Top 10 Presidential Addresses of All Time"), people with political preference may rank one of the two speeches more highly solely due to the identity of the speaker. Thankfully however, Lifehack provides some invaluable insights on the basic factors of a memorable public address. According to the website, imagery increases the effectiveness of a strong public speech, as does connection with the audience and persuasive, powerful statements. Taking those factors into account will help in evaluating both Trudeau’s and Harper’s speeches with a minimal amount of political bias.…

Today in class we listened to Mr. Bob Jeswald the Chief Meteorologist of WRBL. He started his speech off by showing an example of a new way to deliver the weather. He had used an app on his phone to record the current weather forecast right before our class and then sent it out to WRBL’s partner radio station. In class, he played a broadcast that was already using this this MP4A that he just recorded. I found it interesting that such technology is being used in this way. This falls into what Mr. Jeswald said to us about thinking outside of the box and embracing technology. He also talked to us about being passionate about what we do. We should not see our jobs as a 9 to 5 situation; we should enjoy what we do otherwise why do it. Mr. Jeswald…

    Robert Gray - Speech

    • 779 Words

Robert Gray most definitely provokes thought and stirs emotion through an effective use of language and techniques used in his poems. One of his major messages are those connected with mans effect on the environment and our constant need to create something new and yet, forget about what we already have and where that ends up. Also the sense of our society almost becoming, un-Australian and very international.…

That is why I am here, to tell you about some of his amazing decisions and some of his terrible, and how he has made the biggest impact on Canadian society in 2017. Justin Trudeau does not just have a job he has a family life too. He has two sons and a girl, Xavier James Trudeau was born October 18, 2007, the day his Granddad would have turned 88. Good morning teachers and students. Though our national identity is an evolving one, aspects of our identity are constant. Some of these aspects include the iconic sporting legend, mateship, the notion of the underdog and the Aussie battler. This is conveyed in a number of texts in a variety of ways. The texts we will be discussing today include “The Man from Snowy River” by Banjo Paterson and an episode from “My Place” by Nadia Wheatly. The two texts thoroughly present the evolution of the Australian identity from the time of the Bush culture to more recent times. The ideas are conveyed with the use of various poetic, cinematic and language techniques.…
