What makes your best friend your best friend? Describe the characteristics that make your friend such a good friend. What examples can you describe which prove these descriptions are true? Over the years I’ve had many good friends that I have become close to. I care about each of them and they care about me. There is one friend in particular that I have become the closest to.
I’ve only known her for a couple of years, but she truly is a good friend. She has the same characteristics that I have and that is what makes our friendship special.
Being my best friend takes having many characteristics such as being trustworthy, honest, generous and just being happy like me. My best friend has all of those characteristics that she shows daily. In order for me to trust a friend they have to prove to me they can keep things private and secret. That is one characteristic my best friend mainly has, being trustworthy. She is also very generous and whenever I need something, she tries her best to help me. I can always count on her for anything. Along with being trustworthy, my best friend is always honest with me. She always tells me her opinion for anything and even though sometimes I may not like her honesty, I am grateful for her caring. She never lies to me and is always understanding. Lastly, she never fails to make me laugh and smile. Whenever I’m having a gloomy day, she finds a way to cheer me up and lets me have fun.
So describing how my best friend is, here are some examples of her proving that she truly is my best friend. Every day little things show the friend ship between us like when we share food and give each other rides everyday afterschool, that’s being generous.
