The book was so successful that he decided to make a sequel called The Lord of The Rings. world. The book The Hobbit is a very famous book and it is still being sold. The book has brought so much attention towards people like for an example they are going to make the book into a movie. Which many people are looking forward to seeing. But also the making of this movie might attract others to read the book before seeing which will make a lot of money for him. My essay is describing the life of J.R.R Tolkien and what he did before and during the time he was an author. He was born in Bloemfontein, South Africa on January 3, 1892. J.R.R Tolkien stayed in South Africa with his brother and parents. But the weather was very harsh on his mother so she decided she would move to England with him and his brother and their dad would come later. But later J.R.R. Tolkien’s dad died because of a brain hemorrhage so he never ended up meeting up with J.R.R. Tolkien, his brother, and mother. The cause of his father’s death really dropped the family’s income which hurt them financially. But J.R.R. Tolkien and his brother still had a good education because there mom really paid a lot of attention toward making sure they could read, write, and speak English well. Later J.R.R.
