When young Gates was growing up, he was already put off to a great head start. His family was very involved with business, politics, and community services which out Gates in a perfect environment for success. When he began school, every single one of his teachers would describe him as their smartest student they've ever had. Stories have even said that Gates would end up teaching the class instead of the teacher sometimes! After word broke out of Gates' extreme intelligence, his parents decided to put him in a private school to have him in a more academic environment. This small change of schools was basically the turning point in his life which had a domino effect to where he is today. This small school change affected him so much because this was where he was first introduced to the computer.
After Gates first sight to this electronic device, he was was completely hooked. He was so interested in them he would stay at his school from opening to closing to be around the computers. Finally, at age 13, Gates decided to finally do something about this extreme interest in computers. He decided to form a small group with his friends called "Programmers Group". After being with his friends and learning about and working with basically everything there is to a computer, they found that they could apply all this mass knowledge about computers to the University of Washington. After their group attended this college and continued their programming work for about a year, they got their first opportunity to be in the ISI. (Information Sciences Incorporated) Being apart of the ISI gave them a chance to actually make some real money by doing what they love. After making around 10,000 dollars from this company, Gates
