Anticipating ahead, I look forward to starting my biology degree in my first year, as I will look further into biology and society. In particular, I am excited to learn more about molecules and ecosystems. I am interested by how molecular processes, which cause information in the DNA and how this then leads to the variation of the phenotype. Another area I am interested in is the biology of health and disease and the evolution and diversity of human life. After I gain my Biology degree, I would like to obtain a teaching qualification, and help students who may not have confidence in themselves. In my free time I enjoy playing Golf with the Lancashire Ladies Golf Association, being with friends and family and working at a high retail store. I have completed the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award, where I learnt about navigation skills and teamwork skills. I also enjoy watching educational videos about scientific advances and discoveries; a personal favourite of mine is the new advances in maternity, and implantation of embryos to help women who cannot have children, have the opportunity. I also keep up to date with the website "Science
