Border Security

Everyone knows about the problems America is facing with her borders. Even the news reminds people that more and more illegal immigrants have snuck their way into America. Many U.S citizens are outraged by these people sneaking into their country and demand that the border between the United States and Mexico should be more secure, but how secure is secure? Some argue that having the fence finished would fix the issue, but immigrants already have found a way past the fence already. So the question is, what should America do to help secure her borders? Some suggest having a bigger funding for the border patrol, helping Mexican authorities remove major paramilitary gangs, and boosting Mexico’s economy would less the desire to cross over into America. First, America needs to expand its
funding for along the border. The funding for the border isn’t very big to begin with and many signs of neglect have been shown. For an example the wall that runs along the border has even been finished yet. It extends so far, but never got enough funding for the completion. Also a small increase of guards would help more than what people would think. With the extra guard men could work on rotations keeping them alert and focused for when they switch back. Also with the large funding America could finally update her ports between the nations. America's ports have shown signs of obsoletion. With more modern apparatus America could import new methods into protecting its border. Next, the major Cartel gangs rampaging through Mexico many people flee for refuge.
Mexico's police force is overwhelmed with the amount of crime and violence and To help these malicious gangs can be brought to justice. These gangs are worse then what the general U.S public thinks. These gangs show more of a difference compared to the U.S gangs. They have military like training and have enough weapons to take on a small nation. A major funding for these Cartels is the amount of illegal drugs they can sell both in Mexico and in the U.S. With these people removed from the industry less drugs can be sneaked across the border into the U.S. Finally, boosting our neighbors economy would surely help create jobs in Mexico. With more jobs in Mexico many of its people wouldn’t want to cross into America looking work. We hear every day that America has given money to numerous different countries. The one thing we need to do is boost Mexico up. Employment has shown to be one of the leading reasons why foreigners cross into America and with employment growing in their home country they wouldn’t want to sneak across. The biggest flaw in this plan is that we would be spending more in foreign
aid. Some ways for America to protect her border is larger budget, removing crime in the foreign nation, and boosting their economy. These ideas sound like valent acts with their saving another country, but these ideas do have their flaws, of course and maybe other plans which show more promise might be issued. But ultimately the ends justify the means when it comes to how America should protect its border.
