I found the presentation “Life in Balance “by Brian Luke Seaward to be very educational and interesting. I plan on using what I learned in my own life by taking an hour out of my day to take a step back from the fast pace and stressful life as a nursing student. Seaward mentioned that our bodies are exposed to the fast pace life almost twenty- four hours a day, and our bodies need a period of rest where we should shut down outside factors and racing thoughts. Another topic the speaker touched on was instability and how it affects us. That really made me reflect on the way I’m treating my body and still expecting to be able to be on the go and have a good amount of energy when I don’t eat at the same time or get the same amount of sleep, Seaward
