Nowadays, the government are looking the effective and innovation way to cut the cost to manage their staff which are increase steadily in recent year. Due to these reason the technology “Bring Your Own Device” will become more attractive to government agencies and more and more appear in public sector. The government are approving this policy and allow the government staff to use their personal device like smartphone, tablet and laptop for work purpose like access the public sector organization data and resources.
For an example, Malaysia government department also is one of the public sector apply this technology in their operation. This department is belong to federal government and the function development and managing the public service human resource. Government was looking the way to improve their access control system and combine the system with the internal human resource system. Furthermore, they also found the old access system which is card-based access system used for check in in previous year have such defects. Bring Your Own Device (BYOD ) is supported by IOS and the android user. It allows to employee free to choose the device they are more familiar and comfortable. This mean that the user can use their Iphone or Samsung Galaxy note 8 to access organization email, data and view the record text document.
