(B) During his second time running away from home, Nabozny found a social worker, who after hearing about his problems recommended a lawsuit against the school for discrimination against him because he was gay. Furthermore, one of the bullies even testified in court, and recalled all of things he subjected Nabozny to, and he recalled that the school did nothing to stop the bullying. The school officials denied remembering any meetings where Nabozny and the bullies were present, despite the fact that they happened. Despite that the school officials denied their crimes, the jury found all three of the school officials on trial guilty of discrimination, and fined the school district $900,000. (D) Nabozny was brave to go through with such a lawsuit, and he really set an example for a lot of people and gave them hope. He even reported receiving letters from students around the country who supported him and who felt hope when hearing about his

Bullies? Mean people that tease you? Nobody likes those kind of people. Bullies usually have a reason behind all of their bullying. Whether its emotions or people at home it's never good to treat people like that. For example, the character ,Julian, from ,Wonder by R.J Palacio, has been developing this occurring rudeness to August Pullman the new kid at Beecher Prep middle school, from his mother who edited Auggie out of the class picture. Another example of a bully is Andy Simms from Macaroni Boy by Katherine Ayres. Andy Simms is stuck on making up lies about Michael Costa and his dadś business The Costa Brothers and where they get their food and what they put in it. Although bullies like Julian and Andy Simms are different in their ways of being mean to people they also are very similar.…

In my allegory I talk about a huge problem that is common in schools today, bullying. Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year and approximately 160,000 students skip school each day due to the fact of bullying. I chose the topic of bullying because I was personally bullied in fifth grade. It is a topic that most school principals try and push to the side and just tell everyone to get along, rather than solving the situation. I based my allegory off fish who symbolize students who were bullying a less fortunate student for the way that they dress. Although I didn't get bullied for the way I dressed, many students do. In the end of my allegory, I wanted to make everyone become friends because that's how every bullying situation…
