During the Career Fair on Wednesday, I learned much information from the people I interviewed and I would like to talk about it. The first person I talked with was a young man called Bradley C. Wardle. He introduced his job and working conditions, he works in a fire department which located in Mountain View. Although he works six days a week and has no free time for holidays, he enjoys working for people who have problem at the time and his income is not bad for him. He also said that this job is great for him, and I feel moved about his donation for this city even for this country. But fire department has its own benefits, such as flexible work schedules and generous pension. The second person that I interviewed was a person who worked with art. He told me he is always excited when he sees new arts. He studied drawing in high school and art major in college. Art also requires high creativity as cook, and it needs four year college degrees. Artists employ a variety of methods and materials to communicate

Throughout my childhood, many of my relatives asked me the usual question they ask around, “So what are you going to do when you grow up?” During my childhood, the answer that came without thinking quickly and with confidence: was “A chef” I don’t really know when I wanted to become a chef, but, suddenly there it was. However, many people portend me that a chef would be doctrinaire for me because I was an oblivious person. I wasn’t trenchant when they tried to teach me on how to make different types of food. These words didn’t upset me they were an inverse of what they said, it motivated me to concentrate on what they were erudite me. I took some cooking classes in high school and getting help if needed.…

It seems to me that having an internship in the United States can be a fulfilling experience, full of knowledge, and wisdom. When I was in Mexico I worked at a place called “Vector: Casa de Bolsa”, which is a stock brokerage company. It was a very interesting job but I didn’t last too long because I wanted to study abroad, especially in the United States. In the Spring Career Conference, I was looking for something related to that matter, because I have a lot of interest in this type of field, being that my major in this case is Finance and I am a junior and in Mexico, we need to fulfill hours of company practices in order to graduate, which is the same as getting an internship on a company of your choice. It was quite interesting walking around because most of the offerings taking place in different companies I have never even heard about in my hometown, so I just presented myself on different stands just to see what was their posture or what are they offering to the student. I was surprised that they have different types of offerings on different types of fields, so that you can choose whichever pleases you the most or the one that you are more qualified to do the job. The two options that grabbed my attention the most where: Minneapolis Financial Group, and SVA Professional Services. Both of them with different opportunities, but the one that I liked the most was definitely the SVA Professional Services, because it one of the most diversified professional service firms in the U.S. they have been established over 35 years, with specializations on different fields like: Construction, Healthcare, Non Profit, Real Estate, Retail, Professional Services, and much more. I was quite familiar with the way they worked because they offer consulting to business, auditing, planning, management, strategy, although is quite different they way they work at Vector, it seems quite interesting to have an…
