In his new interview, Dan Cathy, the Chick-Fil-A President, expressed his point of view which was described as “guilty as charged” in supporting traditional marriage and opposing same-sex marriages.

• Cathy stated that Chick-Fil-A was a family-owned business, and it supported the tradition family which followed the biblical principles.
• In “the Ken Coleman Show,” he claimed people were against biblical principles when they tried to redefine the definition of marriage.
• The company recently receives a lot of negatives responses from lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender (LGBT).
• The Chick-Fil-A Foundation contributed a large amount of money to anti-gay organizations.
• Hillary Dworkoski, a New York University (NYU) student, created a petition opposing Chick-Fil-A franchise in campus.

We will lose a number of customers who are LGBT or support same-sex marriage. These people will not want to buy Chick-Fil-A products if the owners discriminate them or oppose their opinions. As a result, customer loss will lead to a large decrease in sales and profits of the company.
• By donating to anti-gay organizations, we shows the society that they support fighting against LGBT organization. This also the reason that we will lose a lot of customers who support LGBT. These people surely do not want to spend their money buying chicken sandwiches when they know a proportion of their money will be donate to these anti-LGBT group.
• After Hillary Doworkoski’ case, a number of our franchises in other universities will be closed because they afraid that Chick-Fil-A may create a wave of debates and students’ protests in campuses. This may also cause us to lose a lot of potential contracts in the

The company’s great recipe for success is due to the marketing strategy of product, price, place, and promotion. The additional two P’s, purpose and people, also give a hand in the success. Our current generations task, is to strive to obtain equal rights for homosexuals so that our children and grandchildren can live in a world where they can feel free to express themselves without the fear of discrimination and hatred based chiefly on their biological predisposition to be attracted to the same gender, and so that our grandchildren will one day look at the argument against same sex marriage as we do misogyny and racism; an argument based upon ignorance, and fear. When woman were granted the right to vote, it did not alter the process of voting, and when blacks were recognized as equals, it did not threaten the equality of any other man, woman, or child. These rights awarded to women and blacks simply gave them the privileges promised to them by our nation’s forefathers. The gay community’s quest to gain these aforementioned privileges is currently being obstructed by conservative pundits who believe that the love between a man and another man, or a woman and another woman, is not adequate enough to be legally recognized, although heterosexual marriage is. William J. Bennett, former Secretary of Education under Ronald Reagan, author of several books that delve into the virtues and morals of Americans, and a former senior editor of the conservative journal, National Review, is one of those advocates against gay marriage.
