Shanks mentioned that “the people who own the company or the CEO is just some unknown person– you might not even know their name – that is in an office halfway across the country”. This negative statement says that Shanks felt like she didn’t matter to the organization and that she was just a number to her bosses and the job may also be narrow and routine and is likely that she sees it as monotonous and boring.
