Case Study Of DD Intake
Benjamin and his parents met for the DD Intake at the Woodman Office and currently on the DD waiver waitlist, as his provider was Resources for Independent Living.
Ben was diagnosed with ADHD in 6th grade. He works part-time at St. Mary's Hospital. Project Search and DRAS worked with him, but has since been dropped from DRAS since they felt he no longer needed their services. After working at St. Mary's and doing the same job duties for 5 years he wishes to find new employment or duties. The family contacted DRAS however, due to their budget cuts and Ben's employment they could not help.
The family wants Ben to be more active in the community. ISC provided the family with information on Family-to-Family, Henrico Rec and Parks, and IFSP funding.
