The Casey Anthony Trial is an infamous case globally, and is one that even presently covers the headlines of newspapers and tabloid magazines. The case follows the disappearance, and murder of two year old Caylee Anthony, who lived in Orlando, Florida, with her mother Casey Anthony, and grandparents, Cindy and George Anthony. The events of the case all began on July 15, 2008, when Caylee was reported missing by a 9-1-1 phone call made by her grandmother Cindy, thirty-one days after her being missing. In this phone call Cindy as well reported how her daughter’s car had the lingering smell of a dead body. Casey Anthony is a ruthless and pathological liar, traits of her that were presented countless times in court. She was born on March 19, 1986 to Cindy and George Anthony who worked in law enforcement. Casey Anthony began showing her tendencies of lying in high school, a trait that would be detrimental to her case. As a teenager she told her parents multiple lies from lying about graduation, to hiding her pregnancy. Eventually all her truths came out, and her parents had constantly supported her; it was on August 9, 2005 that Caylee was born. Casey was not content in being a mother, and instead preferred to party and enjoy life, she had even desired for putting her child on adoption. Though, her mother had denounced her from doing so; hot headed and young, Casey one day left her home after having an argument with her parents. As most if not all of the collected evidence pointed towards Casey as the perpetrator of this crime. Firstly, Casey had never desired to become a mother and had constantly invested her energy in live’s pleasures and leisure, rather than taking care of her child. She as well is known as being a pathological liar, and she presented numerous false claims in court, so her statements in court should not be trusted, as they could be falsified. As a mother in court, she also appeared very grim, and did not seem emotionally moved by the discovery of her daughter dead. The greatest piece of evidence was the smell of a dead body from her truck, and her constant efforts to divert blame onto others. All these actions committed by Casey would only be committed by someone who is guilty and afraid of having the truth of their crimes
