2) Why should we keep a person in prison for life instead of letting them be executed?
To prevent wrongful convictions
3) Should the death penalty be reserved for only murder, or for other crimes as well? (example, kidnapping, rape)

4) Does the death penalty work as a deterrent for those already in prison to prevent murder?
No
5) What is the best form of execution when it comes to the death penalty? (example, lethal injection, being hung, electric chair)
Being Hung
6) What benefits do you see in the death penalty?
Allows those who deserve such a punishment get the penalty these deserve instead of wasting our tax money on housing all the inmates in the prisons.
7) Would the death penalty be more cost efficient for the government and corrections?
Much more efficient
8) Would the death penalty be a deterrent for society? (to add on to #4)
I wouldn't think so, people will commit crimes regardless of what the consequences are
9) What alternatives would you suggest to the death penalty?
Something like Guantanamo Bay in the USA, to dump all our problems on an island and keep them away from the rest of society.
10) The system can make errors with wrongful convictions being present today, what impact does this have on the idea of the death penalty as a punishment?

It's cheaper to imprison killers than to execute them, an execution requires more lawyers which , security costs are higher
