Cdr Requirements
A Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) is a collection of the following documents. 1. The completed CDR Application Form. 2. A signed declaration that the report is all your own work. 3. Certified copies of your academic records. (You must always keep your originals) 4. Your Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV). 5. Continuing Profession Development (CPD) listing. 6. International English Language Test (IELTS) Result. 7. 3 (three) Career Episode Narratives (CEN’s). 8. Summary statement of competencies from the career episode narratives (CEN’s). final assignment requirement A reminder that the final assignment must comprise the following elements. (1) Mapping of your undergraduate engineering degree to the Engineers Australia Stage 1 Competency Standards for Professional Engineer. (refer to the Excel template provided) (2) 3 (three) Career Episode Narratives (CEN’s) as per the template I provided. (Place borders to suit your work) (3) Summary statement of the Professional Engineering competencies (refer attachment) claimed when mapped against the three career episode narratives (CEN’s).
1) Use the Bachelor of Engineering Excel template (provided previously) and map your undergraduate degree subjects/courses to the Engineers Australia Stage 1 competency standards for Professional Engineer Appendix B. (2) Use the CER –Template (attached) and complete the three career episode narratives. Adapt the template numbering to suit each of the three career episodes. (3) Use the Professional Engineer Summary Statement
and map the three career episode narratives to the relevant Stage 1 competency standards for Professional Engineer Appendix B. This will enable you to consolidate your summary and complete your Competency Demonstration Report (CDR).
