Chapter 5-21 (Lindsay's POV)
Note: this story takes place before season 21.
Lindsay's POV
I woke up the next morning with a little foot in my face. Sam had already left for work so it was just me and Ella today. I had to go meet my partner today. I got up and went to fix breakfast. I make pancakes and bacon. I was so busy making the food I didn't hear the little feet coming down the stairs. I felt two little arms wrap around my leg. I looked down to see Ella. She had crazy bed head. I picked her up and said, "Morning Sleeping Beauty." "Morning Momma!" She replied cheerily. I gave her a kiss then I sat her down so that I could get her pancakes. I cut up her food and sat it on the table. "Come eat baby," I said. She ran in to the kitchen and sat in her chair. We ate breakfast

I looked in her room and she way laying in the floor playing with blocks. "Hey princess, whatcha doing?" I asked. "Blocks," she said matter of factly. "Can I play?" I asked her. "Yes," she said not looking up from her blocks. We built a tower, then knocked it down. We built a house, then knocked it down. After a while of building and knocking down, we went out side for a little bit. Ella ran around for a while until she tripped over a rock. She fell face first into the ground. "Oh no princess," I said running over to her. I picked her up and brushed her face and knees off. She was crying really hard so I picked her up and brought her inside. Once I got her inside, I took her to the kitchen to look at her knees. I rolled up her pants to reveal two bloody knees. I washed them off with a wash rag and put band aids on them. "Momma," she whispered. "Let's go see momma," I said. I picked her up and walked up stairs. We went to Lindsay and I's room. I peaked in the bathroom to see if she was out of the shower yet. She was wrapped in a towel and was blow drying her hair. "Hey someone kinda had a tumble and wants you," I said. She immediately put her hair dryer down and came out into the room. Ella was sitting on the bed, snuggling into her fuzzy pink blanket. "What happened baby girl?" She asked. "Fall," Ella replied sniffing. "Do you want me to kiss your boo boos?" She asked. "Mhh," Ella mumbled. Lindsay bent down and kissed both of …show more content…
I found them playing in the living room floor. "Hey at y'all ready to go?" I asked. "Yeah let's go," Sam said. We got in the car and drove for a little bit. Sam pulled into a really fancy restaurant. "Sam! You didn't," I said. "I did let's go," he said as he pulled up to valet. I got Ella out of the back and walked in. We sat down and talked for a little while until Ella crawled onto my lap and cuddled into me. "You tired sweet pea?" I asked. "Momma," she whispered. "I think you are. It's been a long day on you," I said. I swayed back and forth trying to get her to go to sleep. She was fighting going to sleep. "Fuzzy," she whispered. "You want your fuzzy blanket?" I asked. "Mhh," she mumbled. I reached in the baby bag and pulled out the pink blanket. I wrapped the blanket around her as she cuddled into me. I continued to talk to Sam while I rocked Ella. Sam reached across the table and held my hand. "You know you're a great mom," he said. I sighed," why does everybody say that?" "Because it's true," he said rubbing his thumb in a circle on my hand. "Ok we nee to talk about when I go to New York for GMA," I said. "Yeah, do you want Ella and I to come," he asked. "I do but I don't. I don't want to leave you but I want to focus on work," I explained. "I totally understand. What if you go to New York by yourself. Then instead if flying back here you fly to Utah and we meet you there so that Ella can meet the family," he
