The circle is a novel about a young lady by the name Mae Holland who just graduated from collage Mae lands her dream job work for an omnipotent technology company called the circle. The circle was created by the three wise men and was made to combine all online and social media interactions in one network. The circle uses technological innovation to generate what it claims is a more efficient and accountable society, particularly by increasing transparency in government, business, and personal lives. Cameras are everywhere in homes and at the work place. Mea’s friend Ann whom she meets during her collage years they roomed together for three semesters works for the circle already and she helped to secure Mae position within the company. The
Mea start out working the customer service department and progressively over time mea starts to get more responsibly within the company, which she felt happy about because she enjoyed working in that field. Mea first day at work is filled with answering emails, surveys, request from clients and going over important data information. During this time mea is slowly increasing her Participation Rank by replying what she learn during training and going over her emails. Mea also stays overnight and up late at night in her dorm to help boost her ranking. Mea begins to try and balance her inner circle and her outer circle into her already hectic routine. While working overtime and taking on more loads. Mea has been receiving lots of complement on her ranking within the company. Shortly after mea returns home her father was diagnosed with MS and is having a hard time with their health
