The chapter “the performance in space “ in the book Wonder by R.J palacio,is about a kid August getting a tour of a school he has never been in. The setting of the chapter is in a school,Beecher prep, in late summer before school. The main characters are August ,Julian, Jack, Julian, and Charlotte. His problem is that Julian is being mean to him, but the girl Charlotte is defending him. In the beginning all the kids were asked to come and introduce themselves, and to give august a tour of the school.After that he found out that the kids were not expecting to see someone like him. Then he found out Julian is mean, Charlotte is nice, and jack is somewhat in between. Later they took a tour of the classrooms and julian said the science elective
