Character Analysis: Dealing With Dragons
In the satirical novel Dealing with Dragons by Patricia C.
Wrede,the main character,Cimorene,is not a proper princess. She is kind, brave, and intelligent girl who joins forces withy dragon named kazul. Cimorene was justified in ignoring the social norms at medieval society because she simply wasn’t satisfied, Cimorene tried to avoid the arranged marriage to Therandil her parents had set up, and cimorene volunteered to serve a dragon a dragon because she didn’t want to go back home. One reason that Cimorene is justified in ignoring the social norms is because she simply wasn’t satisfied. An example is she didn’t follow her parents rule on being a proper princess. It says “she wore her hair in braids instead of curled and pinned like her
