This feeling is also unjustifiable because there are so many other ways of dealing and coping with the problem. Why would you lose hope so fast? On page 64, Shawn was frustrated about knowing that his dad is planning on killing him. “End my pain? It made me mad. What right does he have to decide what’s the best for me? What right does he have to think about ending my pain?” His dad wants to end Shawn's life by knowing about his seizures but he doesn’t even know that Shawn actually likes his seizures. His dad thinks that his son cannot suffer anymore but he never even tried to even communicate and connect with him.

Shawn’s dad’s feelings can be explained and shown from the good side, but it will always be unjustifiable and wrong. Nobody will ever agree that ending someone’s life is the best decision and options. Some of the dad’s emotions and feelings are pretty justifiable and understandable. He tries not to give up, he is trying to find some other ways and options but in the end, he couldn’t cope with it
