In today’s society there is a vast amount of day to day struggles for every individual, but some tend to feel the stress of their struggles more than others due to many different circumstances. One of the bigger problems seen in society today is the lack of support for families headed by a single working parent. Some would blame the parent by expressing that their decision to have a child was irresponsible and they should have thought the decision through more if they thought about it at all. There are plenty of precautions that can be taken to avoid having a child until you are financially stable and in the right position in life to fully support a child. The introduction of a free or low cost childcare system for working single parents would greatly reduce the amount of funds needed to raise a younger child while benefiting older siblings by allowing them to focus on their education and not having to watch over their siblings. The parent would benefit by being able to focus on their jobs and by having extra income to use towards clothes, food, and healthcare for their children. All of these things could be accomplished if the government would use some of the tax payers funds and by pulling from other sources so that we could help guarantee the success of single parents and their
