children's misbehaviour
Rendering
The title of the article is “The child’s misbehaviour”. The article touches upon the problem of children’s misbehavior. The main idea of the article is the importance of the discipline in child’s upbringing. To my mind the purpose of the article is to provide some information about discipline as the guidance of the right behaviour.
The author reports that the discipline is the very broad concept. This term comes from the Greek word, which means “to teach”. The author discusses the problem of children’s misbehaviour, citing an example of three years children. The author emphasizes, that the small children can't operate the behaviour and keep under control their internal motives. I agree with his state and I think that adults should control their children.
I agree with the author of the article that hugs, kisses, explanations and modelling of the right behaviour are the main methods of discipline. The excessive curiosity is the main cause of children’s misbehavior. I think the parents shouldn’t punish their child for it. But if the actions of the child are hostile the parents should consult with a pediatrician. The author stresses that the main care of parents is to take measures to avoid repetition of the rash actions of the children. In any way charges and corporal punishments are inefficient; they can’t solve the problems of upbringing. It is clear that if the child doesn't know for what he has been punished, there is no confidence that he won't misbehave in the future.
In conclusion I’d like to emphasize that the parents should do their best to prevent the child’s misbehaviour. It’s their task to teach their child how to be disciplined, it’s their task to bring up the upright person.

We all have our own definition of what discipline is and its appropriate use. “The word Discipline is derived from the word Disciple, which means the follower of a teacher”(Meyer). A teacher educates through examples and guidance rather than punishment. Modeling appropriate behaviors and enlightening children on natural consequences are lessons teachers will instill on their students. “We say we want to teach our children proper behavior and help them develop self-discipline. Yet instead, we have adopted strategies that are the direct opposite of teaching and instead are just clever guises of manipulation and control.” (Tsabary) Many people believe that the only way to get the response or action they expect from children is through physical discipline and threats. People who believe this to be the only answer are uneducated and inexperienced with disciplining children.…

Some parents spank their kids when they do not listen or obey parents. However, other parents hit them without right reason such as an alcoholic parents beat them, and it can be considered child abuse. According to the article, it shows ninety percent of parents that admit to spanking when children are hit as a mean of correction. In the pros, the supporters believe spanking would stop children from misbehaving and correct their mistakes; these children would listen and obey to parents. The experts expect fifty percentages of parents that admit to spank teenagers who are between thirteen and fourteen years old. On the other hand, in the cons, spanking is considered as a child abuse, which the victim is living in fear of his or her parents. Some studies show ninety-three percentages of agreement that spanking has harmful effects to children (“Pros and Cons”). Mild spanking has an immediate compliance of the child. Every parent wants his/her child to become a successful person when he/she grows up. For example, some children are stubborn and disobedient which makes parents angry about their bad behavior. Especially, the children who are three or younger have been spanked a lot of times; parents mostly use hands to hit them on arm butt, hands, feet, or legs. Some people consider spanking helps children who are between the teenagers’ ages to understand what is right or wrong. Moreover, they can learn lessons from their parents’ advice and teaching. According to the researchers quoted by Dr. Zeidler said he was spanked when he was a little boy. He also approved, “Spanking children as needed when necessary and believes the occasional use of physical punishment-not abuse-can be an effective tool for parents” (Zeidler). The author argues that parents have the responsibility to teach their children in the correct way, especially not using any weapon. If parents…

Gershoff's study, although said to support the argument of how corporal punishment should not be used, lacks to explain the different results obtained if corporal punishment where administered in a loving way with the intent to guide children in the right direction and to help them develop the correct principles in order to become good citizens in today's society. The fact that different parents administer corporal discipline at two completely different extremes is a major factor that needs to be more profoundly investigated. Although Dr. Gershoff's analysis did contain both of those extremes, the results from the type of discipline used also gave different results. With these two variables being a part of Dr. Gershoff's equation, it is argued that although severe forms of corporal punishment do exist, the positive effects of when it is correctly applied by means of a moderate and occasional spanking by parents who continuously convey their love for their child and explain the reasons for their actions, result in huge benefits for the child that overshadow the temporary pain that they may encounter because of the appropriately administered corporal punishment (The Spanking…

Whether or not a parent should discipline their children using the method of spanking is an issue that always seems to be in debate and up for discussion in each and every family in all of society. Any form of spanking can be considered abuse or the only way we can reach a child in terms of making them understand something. There are several points that come up when arguing the issue of spanking. In this essay I am going to argue why it’s a good thing to discipline a child using the method of spanking in order to show a child the difference between what’s right and what’s wrong, establish the parent’s role as a child’s protector, and to prevent simple unruliness and disobedience. Children of a young age have little to no reasoning skills,…
