All of its meals are made with unique recipes. One the most popular meals from Chili’s is the honey-chipotle chicken crispers. The recipe was created by Todd Wilbur from Top Secret Recipes. He dedicates a lot of time and effort into creating these delicious meals. Chili’s food is also very appetizing because it is always made fresh. At Chili’s restaurant, meals are always freshly made after ordering. When my family dines at the local Chili’s restaurant, our food is always straight off the grill and tastes heavenly. Customers may have to wait 15 to 20 minutes depending on what was ordered, but it’s worth the freshly made, delicious food customers will receive. Chili’s also has a large selection of meals to choose from. Its menu includes everything from sandwiches to tacos. Every item on the menu is deliciously made and the large selections will keep everyone happy. My family is very large so it is hard for us to decide on a place to eat. Tortillas made by hand thrown over the pan, as the heat puff up the tortillas, it is thrown on this red sauce that looks like lava. Then, it is pulled out from the sauce and thrown on to the plate ready for the chopped up cabbage, the onion with oregano, and Mexican cheese. Chipotle Mexican Grill, aims to do a few things but do them exceptionally well. When Chipotle (pronounced chi-POAT-lay) opened its first store in 1993, the idea was simple: demonstrate that food served fast didn't have to be a "fast-food" experience. We use high-quality raw ingredients, classic cooking methods and distinctive interior design--features that are more frequently found in the world of fine dining. When we opened, there wasn't an industry category to describe what we were doing. Some 16 years and more than 900 restaurants later, we compete in a category of dining now called "fast-casual," the fastest growing segment of the restaurant industry, where customers expect food quality that's more in line with full-service restaurants, coupled with the speed and convenience of fast food.…

For my second cultural activities, i went to eat at a Mexican restaurant called El loro that is located in crystal. They had a lot of options but I decided to try enchiladas de mole which are traditionally made mostly in Mexico. enchilada has been the most popular Mexican dishes for a long time. Even though enchiladas were first introduced 19 centuries they became popular in the 20 the century. Some people have traced back the origin of enchiladas to pre-Columbian culture particularly to the Aztecs. However, this is only partially true because the Aztecs had chili peppers, sauces, and tortillas but there is no evidence suggest that they made anything similar to what Mexicans call enchiladas. Plus, many ingredients that are used to make enchiladas…

There are many myths and legends regarding the origin of chili. One myth states The Lady in Blue; a nun from Spain had an out of body experience and when she returned she wrote down the very first recipe for chili in the 1600s. Also, it is said that travelers from the Canary Islands were in Houston, Texas and used peppers, onions, and meat to make a chili concoction. Although, the most accepted version is that chili originated from San Antonio, Texas by poor families of the region that did not have enough meat to feed their families and would produce a stew with peppers, onions, herbs and meat. The original recipe was Chile con Carne but as the popularity of chili began to grow so did the sophistication of the recipes…

Price; quality; and quantity; those are the three main components one should look for in a decent place to eat. In today’s economy, with the amount of money we pay for food, we want enough to satisfy us and be worth the money. Quality is a high standard in today’s food industry. Customers want to know if the food they are consuming is made from fresh and natural ingredients rather than preservatives. Quantity is a must as people want a good amount of product for what they pay for. Consumers don’t want food that will only fill them for an hour; they want food that is a meal. The only fast food place that comes to mind that fits these qualifications is Panda Express. Let’s see how it stands with the check list, starting with price.…

One of my favorite restaurants to eat at is Osaka, a well-known authentic Japanese restaurant in Plano Texas that offers a variety of sushi, sashimi, and fresh seafood. The experience at Osaka is very exciting because of the exotic culture and Japanese folk songs. The price at Osaka is fair and the food is delicious. Every time you go the owner always serves you with a cup of fresh Japanese green tea and a friendly smile. In my opinion, a good restaurant should have comfortable atmosphere, outstanding cleanliness, welcoming staff with friendly knowledgeable service, tasty food, reasonable price, and a great location. A restaurant should have all these elements to make it a desirable place to eat.…

One of my favorite fast food restaurants is Wendy’s. When I was in high school at the beginning of my senior year I worked at Wendy’s and of course I ate their food since I had a fifty percent discount so the food was really cheap. I always craved the spicy chicken nuggets with sweet and sour dipping sauce. Ever since I worked there I know how each dipping sauce taste when I always ordered the spicy chicken nuggets. I love the honey, barbeque, honey mustard, ranch and of course my favorite sweet and sour sauce. I also loved how my manager prepared the sweet tea because it was not too sweet and actually tasted like homemade sweet tea. I am a fanatic of sweet tea and pretty much have tried it at every fast food restaurant I have eaten at. Also I love to enjoy my combos with a dessert. I usually get a small chocolate frosty. I love the taste of it because it reminds me of chocolate milk. Also because it is very creamy and sweet this is a great combination for dessert. These are all the many favorite things I love to eat at Wendy’s.…
