Summary –Response Essay D#1
Faceless on Facebook
According to Kate Beals in “Faceless on Facebook”, she signed up on FB without knowing in what she was getting into. After using different kinds of online pages she decided to make a FB profile. In her profile she had to share some personal information such as her picture, activities and her book list. Beals decided to don’t share any of her personal information because it was giving her a hard time. In my opinion, social media can give us some difficulties and also can make some changes in our social lives.
Social media had change the way we interact with each other. Everybody is connected to the internet most of the time. This connection makes people be away from their environment. For example, when my family gets together some of them are using their phones instead of sharing family time. This online connection affects the union of the families. Even when I get together with my friends we are focus on what is going on social media instead of the conversation. People are less likely to reach out to each other because they're already up to date on what's going on in their friends' lives by their Instagram account.
Social media had reduced face to face communication. Social media give a lot of facilities to communicate with people faster without the necessity of getting together. For example, I used to visit my friends that live far away because there wasn’t other way to communicate but now we can use Facetime or Facebook to be in touch. It can be easier to keep in touch with friends but also it makes us be far away because we aren’t sharing time together.
Business meetings had change with the facilities of internet. Nowadays business men don’t need to travel around the world to have their meetings. Now most of the meetings are online using different kinds of programs. For example, my dad used to travel every month to check his business now

Though an extremely new medium, social media has seemed to completely alter the way Americans think, especially among the Millennial generation. It is another perfect example of how our lack of sense and reason has transformed something that was designed to increase our social capabilities into a way to rant, boast, and bully. Instead of using social media to communicate and connect positively, our society has used it to create countless issues and distractions that only deter and detract from developing our social…

It is evident that social interaction is not as ordinary as it should be, or used to be. With social networks, people are unable to obtain the full effect of communicating with a person. Of course, social media users can read about what is happening in someone else’s life, but they lack the physical and emotional feeling that is obtained from being in front of the person. Due to the fact that people are significantly dependent on media nowadays, the enjoyment of in-person conversations is no longer familiar. It is unknown of whether or not this will continue to negatively or positively affect…

During the 20th century, the world went through extensive changes both economically and politically. Communism, a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state, was introduced to the Middle East. Russia and China adopted this ideology which dramatically altered their countries. Both nations used the method of taking advantage of society during their most vulnerable state by overthrowing their former monarchies resulting in civil war, deteriorating the country by then enabling communism to be established easily; in contrast, China focused mainly on the peasant class during its transform, and was influenced by foreign and economic issues, while Russia’s main focus was the Proletariat, and their revolution favored the nationalistic influence. Revolutions arose rapidly across the lands, eventually bringing turmoil to Russia and China. On the contrary, China would recover and excel, aiding their potential to rising as one of the world’s strongest powers, while Russia would linger in defeat.…

If we go to the Facebook site and use all of the tools available we can easily understand that is a spectacle of “Me, me and me”. We can see it immediately in the status bar (“What are you doing”, “Upload a photo of you and your friends”); then on the publications of the friends (it’s often seen people writing “Give me a like” or “Share my status so that everyone knows that I have done this or that” and then for example just the creation of our account and how our profile is shown, we can almost tell our whole life without writing a book. In our profile, we can show everything and the worst is that some people do. We can write if we are single or not and how many jobs we’ve had and where, we can show almost of our likes in life, from music to cinema, literature and more!…

The three regional powers of China, India, and Russia have been actively participating in international trade and international financing recently, although they have large populations, huge territories, and abundant natural resources,1 which would enable them to be independent and autarkic. The globalization movement especially since the ’90s has undoubtedly made their attitudes possible, but on the other hand, the fact that the three regional powers have sailed out on the world market itself has made today’s globalizing trend as a whole stronger and faster. The purpose of this paper is to clarify each country’s similarities and peculiarities in their international financing in a globalizing economic situation by using balance of payments statistics.…

Let me answer in terms of electronic media for community. The internet and modern telecommunications has changed social networks and socialization greatly. It has opened up our ability to communicate over vast distances at near light speed. We now have many more ways in which to communicate in synchronous time with people at distances. Our asynchronous communication (like message boards and social networking) can now involve many more people than with non-electronic media.…
