According to the author Galvin book Making Connections (2011), Communication amongst individual is constantly changing because of technology. Social media certainly affects how individuals interact with each other through all settings and ages (Keller, 2013). Harold Lasswell, the American political scientist stated that a useful way to describe an act of communication is to answer the following questions who (source), says what (message), in which channel (channel), to whom (receiver), with what effect (effect). These questions can be examined clearly when the medium of communication is traditional (face-to-face), however in the aspect of social media answering some of these questions can be difficult.
