Discrimination, segregation, and violent. Which that led to the Civil Rights Movement.
Discrimination is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things especially on the grounds of race, age, and gender. For example of discrimination there were the Jim Crow laws. The name Jim Crow laws first came around in 1832. To separate the whites and blacks and made discrimination illegal. Another example is that they would pay for something and them not get it. The worker could decide if he or she would get what they asked. If they took there money and
did not get what they asked for they just walked away. Final example is they can not go through the front door at stores because of their color. They had to go to the back door. When they would go in the store they were not allowed to try stuff on because of their color.
