I too agree that the Civil War was inevitable. However, your evaluation of the North and South is on point. The war was bound to happen, however, the southern never, had a chance. The North had more people, money, and resources (Ethan, 2003). Nevertheless, the South seems to focus on how many blacks they could keep in slavery. I believe if the politician had a different mind frame maybe there would have been a different outcome. Therefore throughout history, tasteless politician have destroyed themselves.
