Classical Conditioning In Advertising
The way that classical conditioning in advertising has affected me is the Anti-Smoking commercials. The Anti-Smoking commercials have graphic and true stories, which has makes me view and associate smoking to death. The variation of the different commercials show teens, adults and the elderly to show how the effects could happen to anyone, no matter what age group. By watching the Anti-Smoking commercials I have a fear of smoking because there is a risk of illnesses or even death. Before conditioning I just see cigarettes in the store, during conditioning I see people smoking cigarettes and the disturbing commercials. I know now that I don’t want to smoke it because of the dangerous outcomes they show on television. I associate smoking with illnesses, it is addicting and is destructive to your body if you consume it. …show more content…
I put up posters with my name that attracted the general audience, had positive influences I could pursue and had slogans put up with my name around it. When reading my speech I said all the things I knew I could do with some exaggeration added.
