On page 2, 3rd paragraph there is a citation for (Steigal, 1971) without a reference to go with it. This could be a misspelling of the last name “Siegal”, which there is a reference for, but lacks a date for the reference. Furthermore, on page 6 there is a citation for (Fisher, 2013) that does not have a reference. Lastly, the following reference is in the “References”, though there is no citation for it anywhere in the essay:
“Papi, G., Colombo, A [Producers]. Leone, S. [Director]. (1964). A Fistful of Dollars, starring Clint Eastwood. [Motion Picture]. Spain: Izaro Films, Italy: Unidis, & West Germany: Constantine Films.”
Additionally, page 8 has a comma missing in the citation “(Eastwood 1982)” followed by a large space before the conclusion. Considering the conclusion states, “In the end, this is all a matter of opinion.” is further proof that this was not a persuasive essay. This paragraph has two additional errors, the first is “You could, look almost look at” (correction: omit “,look”) and there is a beginning quotation mark, “You know… with no ending quotation mark.
If the essay had no “Spurious Miscreant” section, I feel this would be a quality persuasive essay. There would still be a few errors and flaws, but the reader wouldn’t see Clint Eastwood as “extraordinary” or as “having a broken moral compass”, instead, they would be persuaded to see Clint Eastwood as a “Timeless
