During the school year, the children living there would have access to free or reduced lunch in their schools. However, due to budget cuts and the onset of summer, this lunch was no longer available to them. I have also volunteered at homeless shelters, shelters for foster children, and food

Whether it’s with ICPC Girls Youth, Young Muslims Sisters, as a Volunteers coordinator, an intern at a correction office or Black Belt Instructor, or a teacher, I have been so honored to deal with youth girls from all different backgrounds, ages, and cultures. Whether they are a Muslim, Christian, or Jewish teen, I was given the opportunity to educate, boost, and help girls get on their feet, no matter what happens in their lives. I am so blessed that Allah SWT has given me these opportunities and I’d liked to give back to my community and assist in any way…
