Negotiation
Moreover, in any organization the process of negotiation should always be present simply because of its necessity. For a leader to be able to negotiate in his or her workplace, the rationality, the elements of thought and the essential intellectual traits such as courage, integrity, perseverance, and confidence in reason must be prevalent. According to Glatthorn, Boschee, and Whitehead (2009), “in some processes, the problem solving is more like a negotiating exchange in which bargaining and trading and making compromises seem to be the predominant activities” (p. 93). Likewise, to negotiate required the act of knowledge of what one would likely to bargain for, and publicly hope to receive as an expectation in return. Thus, as a leader in the organization, this person would like to continue initiating and negotiating on strategies that would improve the success in the workplace.
