being a physical therapist requires great knowledge and an amiable personality. My recent internship at a Physical Therapy office showed me the qualities I needed for the career. I have experienced the job for myself, an opportunity of a lifetime. My participation in volleyball, basketball, and track transformed my work ethic and ability to work well with others. I also am a part of Spanish Honor Society and am the secretary of National Honor Society. Between these two clubs, I have many hours of community service. Helping spanish speakers learn English taught how to communicate my way through difficult situations, something important for the job. National Honor Society increased my love for helping others, something I strive to do the rest of my life. Due to the fact that I am addicted to self-improvement and progress, I am always up for a challenge. My motivation continues to grow with my dream becoming closer and closer in sight. Without a doubt, I will reach my goal. I refuse to give up, even when things go wrong. Failure is bound to happen, yet, so is success. I believe that my small defeats only made me stronger and more prepared for what may come. Accomplishing a goal is a roller coaster, it’s not smooth sailing; however, I can handle the adversity. My goal is going to be accomplished. My countless experiences have taught me so many skills beyond the classroom. My traits will aid my success. I am extremely determined to get what I want and very stubborn about my goals; I won’t stop until I get there. My lifetime dream is on the line, my steps toward the goal will not be taken lightly. I am very passionate about becoming a physical therapist. Anita Roddick once said, “to succeed, you have to believe in something with such a passion that it becomes reality.” I couldn’t agree more. I will succeed because of my passion and adamancy. No words will ever express my devotion to achievement. For the past four years, I have spent everyday working toward my goal. The experiences and obstacles I have faced shaped me into the person I am. I am capable of becoming a physical therapist and I will turn my dream into reality.
