For example, dancers take a large part in musicals, movies and commercials. The biggest industry surprisingly is dance teams that are represented by sports teams. Dancer put forward an incredible amount of raw talent that is worth so much more than what they are being given. There are many people around the world, who will never view dance as a sport, but by looking at the facts, statistics and influence dance has on our culture, I believe dance will one day be recognized as a sport.
Dance being such a beautiful art is also a sport in so many ways. The ability that allows a dancer to accomplish the things they do is not only a physical but also a mental challenge. Dancers put their lives on hold to put many hours into this stunning sport. The entertainment that dance provides to our culture is unlike any other. If dancers were treated as athletes there would be so many more opportunities for dancers all over the world.
