College For Everyone
Some people say that college is not for everyone. In fact, I agree with that statement. People, especially those in high school, feel a huge amount of pressure to attend college. With that pressure, they make rash decisions. They might pick a major they do not even want to pick. If they do not attend college, they feel they will be looked down upon. They will not receive a lot of money or a good quality job. They feel they will be very unsuccessful in life. Although, that could not be farther from the truth. Not everyone is college material, which is ok, because you can still be successful and get a good paying job without a degree. You will not be successful in life if you do not have a college degree. False. There is an excessive number …show more content…

The word hard, does not mean impossible though. It also may not be the greatest paying job. Yet, when it comes to money and your passion in life, you have a choice to make. Will you have an amazing paying job but be miserable with that job, or will you have an ok paying job, but absolutely love it. If you happen to be good with computers, you could be a computer support specialist. Did you know that they get paid about $61,830 a year? That is not bad for a job with no college degree! An MRI Technologist makes about $67,900 a year. You can even become a dental hygienist for about $71,520 a year. (Snider) For someone with no college degree, that is some impressive money. See, I told you that it is possible to get a good paying job with no college degree. There are so many different options when it comes to what you will be in life. Do not let someone else decide for you. Decide for yourself, and decide to pick something that you will love. Let it not be for the excessive amount of money. Money may make you happy for a little while, but in long run, if you hate your job, you will not be truly happy. Let it be for your passion and something you are truly gifted in. If you hate the idea of college, or have no desire to go, I do not judge you. I encourage you to search for what it is that you would like to be. If whatever you pick, makes you happy, then you will be successful no matter the pay
