Communism, weather people say it or not was the main cause of the Cold War. The Cold War started because Russia and China wanted to spread communism to every country of the world. The U.S wanted to stop this from happening. Even though it was considered a war it didn’t actually have any fighting between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. The U.S. decided we did not want to have communism in our country. Karl Marx, the “creator” of communism created a pamphlet called the communist manifesto which explained the idea of communism. Even though both propaganda and the war was promoting it, leaders from all over were also trying to push communism onto their people.
